Foxes climb back to the top

Leicester City secured just their fourth win in 10 games

Leicester City climb back to the top of the Championship with victory in a dramatic Midlands derby against West Brom at the King Power Stadium.

A late goal from Kelechi Iheanacho gave the Foxes their first win in four games and took them back to the top of the table.

Iheanacho’s goal came in the 84th minute, just minutes after West Brom had equalised through Karlan Grant.

The win was Leicester’s fourth in 10 games, and it saw them move one point clear of second-placed Fulham.

West Brom remain in 10th place, six points off the play-off places.

Leicester started the game brightly and took the lead in the 12th minute through Harvey Barnes.

However, West Brom equalised just before half-time through Matt Phillips.

The second half was a tight affair, with both sides having chances to win the game.

However, it was Leicester who eventually claimed all three points, thanks to Iheanacho’s late goal.

The win was a welcome boost for Leicester, who have struggled for form in recent weeks.

It also saw them move back to the top of the table, and they will now be hoping to build on their victory with a win against Blackburn Rovers next weekend.
