KKR vs RCB Match Summary
The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 9 wickets in the 27th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 23, 2017.
RCB, who were put in to bat first, were bowled out for just 94 runs in 14.4 overs. Chris Woakes was the pick of the KKR bowlers, taking 3 wickets for 15 runs in his 3 overs. Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav also chipped in with 2 wickets each.
In reply, KKR chased down the target with ease, reaching 95 for 1 in just 10.3 overs. Gautam Gambhir led the way for KKR with an unbeaten 47 off 32 balls, while Chris Lynn contributed with 36 off 22 balls.
With this win, KKR moved to the top of the IPL points table, while RCB remained in the bottom half of the table.
